Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Mixologist, you”ll serve non-alcoholic beverages to guests while providing a high level of service and excellent guest experience to all guest, at all times. 

  • Ensures every guest has the complete Virgin Bar experience, finest culinary creation and presentation, and serving guests with a memorable and exceptional level of service and enlightened hospitality

  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude

  • Receives drink and food orders from patrons and serves non-alcohol drinks and meals for patrons following standard recipes and using company recipes and standardized proportions

  • Prepare drink garnishes and menu items

  • Follow recipe and production protocol precisely. Measure all ingredients as specified and prep ingredients for production

  • Exhibit knowledge of menu items & product lines including allergies, restrictions, modifications etc.

  • Assess customer’s requests, needs, and preferences to make great recommendations and ability to help guests with restrictive diets.

  • Ability to remember names and faces of regular guests — and greet them by name.

  • Energetically serve 250+ samples to invite mall guest into the café and generate customers and customer retention 

  • Sequentially providing customers with top tier service and hospitality invite customers to leave honest 5 star reviews of their experience on platforms such as Google, Yelp, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and more 

  • Demonstrate sales pitch skills to increase revenue from mocktails and suggestively up sell concession items at the bar. Promote drink and menu specials.

  • Must be alert to Team Member and Guest needs

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

  • Demonstrate time management and ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner

  • Monitor guests for dietary restriction consumption and limit problems and liability

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and workspace

  • Attention to cleanliness and safety 

  • Exhibit knowledge of food safety, sanitation laws, and regulations.

  • Comply with all Food Safety standards and follow good manufacturing practices for food and beverage 

  • Assist in inventory reports and maintaining inventory levels, bar supplies, beverages, ingredients, and condiments for optimum bar performance

  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.

  • Promote Virgin Bar Mobile Remix for catering their guest’s personal event to build brand loyalty.

  • Promote social handles for sharing drinks 

  • Enters drink orders on our point of sale software, collect payment from patrons for food and drink orders served, and makes correct change

  • Completes sales and inventory reports accurately at the end of the shift / event
